Use of ICT and the internet is now a regular part of everyday life. If accessing the internet, it is so important that children are aware of and are responsible for their behaviour online.
Scoil Eoin Baiste, Scoil Naomh Bríd -Downings, Scoil Cholmcille- Devlinreagh and Cranford NS have joined forces on a very important agreement- No Smartphones.
Parents are invited and encouraged to sing up to a shared code of practice that delays giving their children smartphones or smart devices until they are ready or are in secondary school. The aim is to reduce peer pressure, support families who want to wait and protect children from early exposure to social media and online content that is not age appropriate.
Below are links to support parents in keeping their children safe online.
