Thank you sincerely to everyone who participated in our Green School Action week. A variety of activities took place throughout the week, including a clean up of the school grounds, classroom-based lessons, classroom detectives, bottle collections and waste-free days. We hope that these initiatives have encouraged meaningful conversations at home about the importance of energy and waste conservation. I would like to extend a special word of thanks to the Green Schools Committe for their professionalism and dedication in carrying out their responsibilities so effectively. The highlight for me was the Art Competition. It is always a pleasure to witness the creativity and talent within our school community. The committee selected two entries for special mention- congratulations to Síofra and Córa on their wonderful entries. We are currently liaising with the Green Flag Coordinator and will keep you informed of further developments.
