Breakfast Club & After School

21st Aug 2023

Dear Parents

We are delighted to be able to announce that we now are a registered Afterschool. We have received our paperwork from Tusla, and all is in order for us to start our Breakfast Club and Afterschool from the 4th of September in Scoil Colmcille Devlinreagh under the name.

 “Iarscoile Páisti Sásta”.

The school has provided us with a beautiful classroom and the use of the school hall and school grounds. We are very thankful and really appreciate this chance that the school have given to us and for all their support and help in getting to this point.  It provides a great space and base to what hopefully will be a great before-school and after-school space to provide the care and programme of activity that we hope to run for our school-age children each day.

We have 3 teachers employed to deliver a quality afterschool programme to keep your children engaged, interested and busy. The 3 teachers all have great experience in working with children and are as excited as we are to get this up and running,

The booking will be opened to all children attending Devlinreagh school first as they must take priority and then after a day, any parent who filled out an expression of interest form and sent it to us will be contacted. The principals from each school will then share the booking form with their own parents groups and the remainder of the places will be filled.

There has been great interest so far in this service so please book early to secure your place. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me on 0872214267.

The cost of the service is as follows:

Breakfast club –      8 am – 9 am - €5

Afterschools –         2 pm-3 pm - €5

                                    3 pm-6 pm - €15

                                    2 pm-6 pm - €18

There is no bus service after the breakfast club.

There will be a 2 pm and 3 pm bus service from both Scoil Eoin Baiste Carrigart and Cranford National School at a cost of €5 per child per day. This will be reviewed again after the first term to ensure that all is working well.
