The 6th class girls were really inspired by local secondary school students who entered Junk Kouture for the past two years & asked Mrs Mc Geever if they could host their own competition. Between the art curriculum & STEM the pupils had around 6 weeks to design & create their masterpieces. Many thanks to Kerri Mc Nutt, a previous Junk Kouture award winner from Loreto Milford, who visited the children & offered advice.
On Friday, they showcased their masterpieces & the rest of the pupils voted on their favourite.
A massive well done to Ellie who showed off her creative sewing skills & won the competition.
